TVEAP is a not-for-profit organisation working throughout the Asia Pacific region. It uses audio-visual media (television, video, film) and new media (Internet and Web) to raise awareness on environment, development, health, science and technology issues.

Working with partner organisations, TVE Asia Pacific: produces and distributes TV programmes; trains TV professionals; consults on communications strategies; and networks with governments, civil society and educational institutions

TVEAP is governed by an international Board of Directors, comprising media, education and information specialists from Asia and Europe. The office, based in Sri Lanka, implements projects across East Asia, South Asia, South Pacific and Southeast Asia.
